We use a variety of massage techniques to encourage relaxation, recover function and assist in healing.

We offer a variety of therapeutic techniques including: Trigger Point Therapy, Hydrotherapy, Lymphatic Drainage, Swedish & Deep Tissue, Myofascial Release, Sports Massage, and Relaxation.

shockwave therapy

Shockwave therapy accelerates the healing process in the body by stimulating the metabolism and enhancing blood circulation to regenerate damaged tissue. Strong energy pulses are applied to the affected area. These pulses occur for short periods of time, creating micro-cavitation bubbles that expand and burst. The force created by these bubbles penetrates tissue and stimulates cells in the body that are responsible for bone and connective tissue healing. In many instances, shockwave therapy is most effective in cases where the human body has not been able to heal itself on its own.

Acupuncture

Acupuncture is the health care practice of correcting imbalances of identifiable points which are close to the skin. We stimulate the body’s natural pain killing endorphins and decrease the nerve sensation that causes pain.

Some conditions that may benefit from acupuncture treatment: Digestive issues (including GERD and IBS), Carpal Tunnel Syndrome, Shoulder Impingement Syndrome, Piriformis Syndrome/Sciatica, Fibromyalgia, Lower Back Pain, Neck Pain and Sinusitis, Migraine Headaches, Tennis Elbow Pain, Nausea and other chemotherapy induced symptoms, Tendonitis, and Hypertension.

Osteopathy

Osteopathy is a drug-free manual medicine that focuses on total body health. Through treatment and mobilization of the musculoskeletal framework, it positively affects the body's function including the nervous, circulatory and lymphatic systems. It applies the knowledge of anatomy and physiology to all diseases, disorders and dysfunctions. We utilize palpation and provide a gentle “manual” approach to identify the causative factors and restore function to the musculoskeletal, respiratory, cardiovascular, digestive, genitourinary and nervous systems.

There are four key components to Osteopathy

SOFT TISSUE MANIPULATION

Soft tissue manipulation is used to evaluate the condition of tissues and to help the body’s blood and lymph fluid circulate and assist the body’s immune system to be more effective.

OSTEOPATHIC ARTICULAR TECHNIQUE

The osteoarticular technique is used to gently mobilize two joint surfaces, reduce muscle spasms and ease neurological irritations around a joint, make joints more mobile and reduce pain and discomfort.

CRANIAL OSTEOPATHY

This gentle technique is used to assess and treat the mobility of the cranial bones, fluid motility, the spine and the sacrum. It adjusts the body’s physiology by restoring balance to the circulation of the cerebrospinal spinal fluids.

VISCERAL MANIPULATION

Osteopathic Manual Practitioners use visceral manipulation to treat the organs and viscera of the body, including: lungs, heart, liver, spleen, kidneys, stomach, pancreas, intestines, uterus, and bladder. We specialize in the manipulation of soft tissues in the body – including muscles, connective tissues, tendons, ligaments and joints – that helps alleviate the discomfort associated with everyday and occupational stresses, muscular over-use and many chronic pain conditions.
